Q: Can I customize my cake with items not listed?
If the new parents-to-be are registered at Babies R Us, Pottery Barn
Kids,Target, Walmart (etc.) we are able to work from their registry. You will need to
specifically indicate which items you want purchased for the diaper cake. We will
purchase those items, and make the diaper cake using the preferences of the
parents-to-be. You may also be in a situation as the gift-giver, in which you want to
pick and choose what is included on the baby diaper cake.
We will also have available themed items for our cakes (sports, butterfly, ladybug,
cars, trains etc..) Feel free to inquire about any of these options.
Q: Do the items in the pictures come in different colors?
(For example, the Baby Blanket)
A: Yes, on most items other colors are available than what is shown in the picture.
Q: Are all of the items available in the pictures?
A: Babycakes creates your diaper cake upon receipt of your order. The items
shown to create your diaper cake are dependent on availability. If the exact item
pictured is not available for purchase, an item of equal value will be substituted. We
will inform you of any substitutions that may occur. Upon ordering we will let you
know of a products availability. We are usually in stock of all items listed.
Q: What size diapers do you use?
A: We use size 1 diapers (8lbs-14lbs) in Pampers, Huggies, Luvs and a high
quality generic disposable diaper. If you would like a different size, just email us and
we will be glad to accommodate you. (Imagine a diaper cake for a child's1st birthday
with larger diapers or pull-ups and items more suitable for an older child.) (additional
charges apply for larger size diapers)
Q: How much time should I allow for my order?
A: Please order at least one week in advance. Depending on orders, next day
shipping is available at an additional cost.
Q: Can I order a cake that has over 200 diapers and taller than 4 tiers?
A: Yes, larger styles are available at an additional cost.
Q: Is there a delivery / shipping charge?
A: We will deliver within a 20 mile radius for free (limited time only). Outside of
the 20 mile radius, there will be a delivery fee. Also, Babycakes can ship directly to
a recipient at home, work, at a hospital etc... (No P.O. Boxes Please)
Q: Can you ship outside the U.S.?
A: Sorry, we are not shipping outside the U.S. at this time
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: At this time we are only accepting Cash, Checks, and Money Orders.
**For any returned checks there will be a $40 fee. (Pay Pal coming soon)
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Because all of our products are handmade, personalized and/or custom
made - "All Sales are Final." We do not accept Returns or Exchanges. If an item is
returned to us unopened, because it was refused or declared undeliverable, you have
the option to re-ship and to pay the additional shipping charges. We assume no
liability for products damaged during shipping or packages lost or improperly
delivered by the freight carrier. You must file your claim directly with the freight
carrier for reimbursement. Errors with your order must be reported within 5 days
from receipt of your shipment. Error correction is limited to the purchase price of the
products in question.
